Reno has been nicknamed the “Biggest Little City in the World,” due to its concentration of all-night casinos, entertainment centers, attractions and resort areas. The resort area of Lake Tahoe is less than an hour’s drive to the south, and there are many excursions available to historic landmarks and enactments of Old West events in the immediate area.
